When cooking, I often use whatever is in my home to make some bomb, eclectic dishes. After living in the south of France for a year I brought back, for my physical and mental well-being, a newfound appreciation for eating a primarily vegetarian diet, and for the time and effort that goes into preparing and enjoying a meal. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to make great, healthy food.

What you won’t find here is the inclusion of nearly any processed food. From growing and harvesting squash blossoms from my garden in San Francisco, to roasting chestnuts on an open fire in upstate New York, I like to incorporate food and natural eating into my life on a daily basis. It’s possible.
